About Poinciana Handyman
Poinciana grew from about 13,600 people in 2000 to more than 69,000 by 2020 — one of the fastest-growing communities in Florida across three straight census counts. That kind of growth leaves a specific kind of work behind it: not decades of wear, but the small punch-list items every new house collects in its first year — a door that doesn’t quite latch, trim that needs a second coat, a TV that still isn’t mounted, a fence gate that never got adjusted after settling.
We work across both sides of Poinciana — the four Osceola County villages and the six Polk County villages, plus Solivita and the neighboring Bellalago community — which means dealing with two different county building departments depending on where a job sits. See the service areas page for the breakdown.
We handle general handyman work only: drywall, doors and windows, deck and fence repair, TV mounting, gutter cleaning, caulking, and paint touch-ups. We never take on electrical, plumbing, HVAC/AC, or roofing work — those stay with their own licensed trade, and we’ll say so plainly if that’s what a job actually needs. See the licensing guide for the Florida rule behind that line.
